A beautiful, peaceful boutique hotel that feels like a home away from home
Liked: Amazing boutique hotel with beautiful, tasteful decor. It truly feels like a family home. We loved the location in a leafy neighbourhood, while still being able to easily reach all our points of interest on foot or by train. The rooms are spacious and the garden is a real highlight. A wonderful stay and definitely our new go-to hotel in Barcelona.

Perfect Barcelona stay
Liked: Everything about the place is fantastic - quiet location, excellent rooms, relaxing outdoor space, beautiful and calming living room. Highly recommended.
Disliked: The gym is small and needs a treadmill.
Liked: Primero Primera is a wonderful boutique hotel. It is a quiet, private and respectful environment, and there is a genuine care from staff to ensure that guests are treated as guests and are made to feel comfortable and at home. It is a touch of luxury to treat yourself to at the tail end of your travels. My room was large and the furnishings were restful and comfortable. The bar downstairs served the most expensive gin and tonic I've had the pleasure of drinking - it was gloriously enormous and was great to sip at leisure in the comfortable lounge rooms after a big day out. No regrets at all. The shower in the bathroom is an exceptional experience. It is within walking distance of L'illa Diagonal shopping complex and the metro train station.
Disliked: It's a bit of a distance from the city so prepare to take a few taxi journeys or train trips to see Barcelona's main attractions. It is also expensive accommodation for a place some distance from the city. I will say though that it was always a joy to return to at the end of the day. The bed is vast and there are plenty of pillows but while it wasn't difficult to get to sleep and it wasn't uncomfortable, it was the least sumptuous experience throughout my journeys in Spain in far less expensive accommodation.
