  A friendly, authentic stay high up the gorgeous Spanish Pyrénées. Clean, but basic with an amazing dinner service

  Liked: Location! Beautiful setting with jaw dropping views and absolute silence.

  Disliked: Would have appreciated a few basic supplies in the room: cups for water, pump soap for handwashing and some shower gel.

  A special place with stunning views

  Liked: A special place, hard to get to along the mountain road perhaps - we were in a campervan and it was tricky but fine -.but totally worth it.

  Friendly and homey vibe in the middle of jaw dropping beauty

  Liked: What a lovely stay, a great start to our trip. A windy road gets you there, and you’re rewarded with epic, jaw dropping views. Immediately when we arrived we felt welcomed and part of the wonderful family! Javier made a special effort to make us feel welcome and teach us about the bearded vultures that the Monte Perdido park is famous for. He took the time to show us their feeding and it was such a special treat! Our room was small but clean, beds were comfortable and water pressure was great. Food and service were great-friendly staff and cute dogs too! Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area, it is truly special!!!

  Stunning location and friendly hosts

  Liked: We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location, the spectacular views and being able to watch the various types of vultures close to the hotel. The family who run the hotel are very kind and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the homemade food at breakfast and dinner, we stayed 4 nights and tried different dishes. WiFi is available and we found it worked well. The accommodation is simple, no TV, no hairdryer but we knew that when we booked and it wasn’t a problem for us.

  Disliked: An electric fan would have been good in the room as it was so hot and we couldn’t have the windows open because of the flies.
