  A perfectly placed hotel to visit the old town of Caceres

  Liked: The hotel is of a high standard. The staff greet arrivals in a friendly and helpful way. All the staff are very attentive. The garage has EV chargers which is great for onward travel. It is only a short walk to the old town. The restaurant is very good if you want to eat in.

  Liked: Fabulous hotel, staff very attentive and polite. Restaurant great food. A first class hotel. Everyone is so helpful from the car park attendant to the reception staff and the cleaners and restaurant staff.

  Great value with free Tesla charging, a couple of hygiene issues

  Liked: Good underground garage (€15/night). They reserved a space for us in advance, and you drive straight in on arrival. There is a free Tesla Destination Charger at 11 kW, three-phase, which is ideal for an overnight EV stop. Our cat was welcome for a €15 fee. They answered our pre-arrival email within ten minutes, clearly and precisely, and everything on site was exactly as promised. Breakfast was very good. Great value overall.

  Disliked: The room had a strong chemical smell on arrival, probably from cleaning products or air freshener, and needed airing out. We also saw a cockroach on a cake at the breakfast buffet. It was a one-off sighting, but worth mentioning.
