  A small, clean, comfortable, well-laid-out apartment, with an excellent location and wonderful host

  Liked: The hostess was very friendly and met us at the property and helped us find the parking and also get settled in to the property. The coffee maker, coffee pods, and coffee cups were nice, the property was clean and it was well-laid out, and it had a great location. The internet worked well.

  Disliked: The frying plans were pretty scratched up. If I had been planning on cooking a lot this would have been a bit of a problem.

  Liked: Very centrally located, 100 meters from city center, restaurants and shops. We managed to find free street parking nearby (otherwise there is a covered paid parking nearby at 13,50€/day). The appartment is very nicely laid out; large bedroom, comfortable beds, quiet, very clean, good wifi, kitchen equipped for a short stay.

  Disliked: Quite cool in the bathroom.

  Quiet and Comfortable Stay Close to the Historical District

  Liked: This property has the best of all worlds: it is comfortable, and it is very quiet at night while being just around the corner from the city centre – that is, the historical district, which is the interesting area for tourists. The flat was very clean and I had no cockroaches. The host communicated to me in advance all the information I needed to know. She communicated in English, which made it easier for me as I don’t speak Spanish. Although I didn’t meet her in person, she made me feel welcome by the way she prepared the flat. The access by door code means you can arrive as late as you need. The host was also lenient with me: I inadvertently broke a small item, but she didn’t charge me for it.

  Disliked: The flat is dark: the windows don’t let much light in. There are some steps that you can easily trip on: they are painted the same colour as the rest of the floor, so they are not very noticeable. Some are between the rooms, and one is at the very entrance to the flat: arriving into the flat for the first time, you have to go down one step immediately – and, as I arrived in the dark, the step took me by surprise. No oven in the flat.

  The Casina deserves top marks. I have travelled a lot and rately is a place exactly as described. This place is

  Liked: Everything! The hostess was amazing. The location too. Not even 5 minutes from the Plaza Mayor. Easy 25 minute walk to bus and train stations. Lots of small supermarkets and stores.

  Disliked: Nothing!
