  Never peaceful

  Liked: Charming architecture.

  Disliked: Nearby dogs barking at almost all hours, voices of people walking the street, and car noises readily audible in front bedroom. Only the back bedroom with a fan running and earplugs in both ears was enough to mitigate the noise in order to sleep. Area only fairly quiet during around 3 AM to 7 AM.

  Loved Caceres and accommodation was just fine. We appreciated the host calling an early morning taxi to pick us up

  Liked: Closeness (easily within walking distance) to plaza mayor and other attractions Good shower, comfy beds, air con, cute and unusual space which would have accommodated 3 people at the most ( we were two in separate beds)

  Disliked: Spanish apartments generally lack chopping boards, kettle and a can opener.
