Fabulous
A beautiful place which is quiet and spacious. Very relaxing, I wish I had stayed longer to enjoy the facilities!
Liked: I loved the spacious apartment and cooking facilities. The view was great and it was very quiet. The staff were friendly and arranged for me to be dropped off for the 7:15 am bus to Barcelona.
Disliked: It’s at the top of the hill In Cadaques. I caught the bus in and there are no taxis so I had to push my luggage up the hill for 750m in the dark. So access is not good unless you have a car.
We had a great stay and would recommend to others
Liked: Great check-in process and pre-arrival communications. Facilities were very good, nice views, restaurant and great pool. Staff were attentive and helpful.
Nice stay
Liked: Arrival at reception we were greeted by friendly staff. The property is well located but at the top of the town so the walk back is all uphill. The restaurant during our stay was open for breakfast but not lunch and bar bar was only open at specific times. The pool area is nice and has good sunbeds. The apartments are clean and well stocked with crockery, cutlery etc. A nice touch was a bottle of wine!
Disliked: While the rooms are clean and comfortable, there was no cleaning service provided during our 1 week stay so towels and bed linen wasn't changed, laundry services are provided but who washes their bath towels and bedlinen while on holiday. The rooms could do with some TLC.
Carpe Cadeques
Liked: - The staff were extremely helpful especially Robert at the restaurant. - The breakfast was worth paying for. - Lunch was also good quality. - Poolside there was plenty of room. - The premises is ideally located for Casa Dali, a 10 minute stroll downhill. - The Cap de Creus hike is located close but beware it's 2.5 to 3 hours and not 1.5 hours. - The suite facilities were excellent with everything available in the kitchen.
Disliked: - No cleaning services throughout the stay. Toilet paper should be dropped off for the price point. - The suite needs a mirror in the room.
A fantastic hotel on a hill overlooking Cadaques
Liked: This is a great hotel with a commanding view over Cadaques. Our apartment was very well equipped & had a wonderful balcony. We would not hesitate to return. The hotel pool was probably about 30 metres in length & had a great sun deck. On site parking was straightforward. Its a 10-12 minute walk down the hill into Cadaques harbour & a similar time to the Port Llegat Dali Museum
Disliked: People with mobility issues would struggle with the climb back up the hill, from the harbour to the hotel
Not long enough
Liked: Great location with superb views, very nice pool are and outdoor seating, quality food at the restaurant along with rob a helpful and knowledgeable manager on hand
Disliked: Nothing to dislike
