  Disliked: Entry is not straightforward. Told to collect a key at a different location which was not necessary. No air con in the bedroom

  Liked: Authentic, stylish apartment. Property Agency in same street were very prompt getting us a plumber when shower blocked.

  Disliked: No name of apartment on door behind the 2 entry doors & entering property was difficult so we asked for the help of the agency located in same street then the Spanish holidaymakers staying next door to us. Once masteted the door locking app worked well.

  Fantastic location and a beautiful apartment perfect for a family stay, a short walk from the central market

  Good location, but a few downsides

  Liked: The location was amazing

  Disliked: There was a lack of attention to details. The floor wasn't clean when we came, there was paint peeling from the walls in the kitchen/living room area. The kitchen was not very well equipped with the utensils and the chopping board should have been thrown away a long time ago. They left only one roll of toilet paper for three people for 5 days, no bins bags too. The apartment is very noisy too due to the location and the old windows

  Close to everything you need

  Liked: 3 minutes to supermarkets, pharmacy. 5 minutes walk to the amazing vibrant market where you can chill enjoying food & drinks and great social vibe til midnight, as well as morning stalls selling fish, meat, fruit & vegetables. This area is adjacent to the main shopping area with some lovely old squares nearby to sit and watch the world go by. Apartment is 5 min walk to the beautiful Teatro building and to La Caleta beach. Baggage lock-up 2 min away. Apartment had high ceilings, giving a sense of space, nice old features and a big shower. Dealing with the booking agency was prompt and efficient via WhatsApp. They organised 6am taxi for us the previous evening, which messaged and arrived on time. When a tap was loose they offered to arrive within a short time with repair guy and cleaner. Bin is in hallway, so easy to discard of rubbish. Floor-length windows open onto picturesque little streets and a small balcony on the bedroom. Old wooden shutters keep the heat out when needed.

  Disliked: The key system... Smart locks. These depend on WiFi, being tech-savvy and having your phone with you when going out. We found it difficult initially to work out. When we did, these locks are quite noisy. WiFi was slow for accessing Google. One bedroom is part of the livingroom with a moveable screen separating it, but was okay for us.

  Great location, okay apartment with some flaws

  Liked: Location is great in the middle of La Viña. Close to everything you need and a 6 minute walk to a parking (17 euros per day). Apartment looks new, and clean. Aircondition is good. Kitchen was spacious and good for making food and shower was good.

  Disliked: The apartment has no sound proofing, you can hear everything from outside or inside the building. One of the walls of apartments is made of frosted glass. So if someone comes home during the night (in the building) the automatic lights in the common area turns itself on and your whole apartment is full of light for 5 minutes. This can be fixed by closing all extra doors, but then you have no AC in the other bedroom. Its seems to be a fairly calm neighborhood so not a big problem, but nice to know. WiFi is not working properly, so make sure you have data on your phone.
