  Perfect location, clean and comfortable with an added bonus of a private roof terrace and hot tub

  Liked: Perfect location, straight out into the huddle and bustle of Cadiz though once inside you’d never know how central you are as it’s quiet and relaxing. Clean and modern inside, comfy bed and nice bed linen. The roof terrace with hot tub, though small was a fabulous addition. A sun bed would have just made it perfect!

  Disliked: We didn’t like the smelly drains, the sinks don’t have traps on so the drain smell can come back up through them. It’s was more than tolerable, just let the quality down. TV too close to the door my husband bumped his head on it the first day quite hard. The biggest room has two single beds in. It would be better or would have been better for us for it to have a double in there. There are huge beds in the smaller rooms making no room left to manoeuvre. Walls are very blank, some colourful art work would add to the modern design. No plug in the kitchen sink, there was a dishwasher which was great but would have been good to hand wash certain items.

  Excellent stay but a couple of things could have made the apartment perfect

  Liked: Location was very central and an easy walk to all the sights/sites. The roof terrace was a nice feature even though we didn't have great weather and didn't, in fact, use the Jacuzzi. Handy lift to the 2nd floor.

  Disliked: One of the bedrooms was entirely taken up by the king-sized bed so to access it you had to scrabble up over the end of the bed which wasn't easy - I think a bunk bed arrangement would be better in that room. or 2 single beds arranged in an L shape. Also, none of the bedrooms had a mirror of any description or a shelf on which to put products which was surprising given that there was plenty of wall space which would have accommodated these items. There was no microwave either. The 2nd toilet was okay but is of a macerator style which can be a bit surprising if you're not used to it.

  Nothing like the photos - avoid!

  Liked: The location is good and convenient.

  Disliked: Avoid this place. Nothing like the photos - the apartment managed by Cadiz4Rentals was dirty, outdated and badly maintained. One bedroom was unusable due to mould right next to the bed (see photo), and the bathroom was full of black mould with a very strong damp smell. We spent an hour cleaning it so we could use it. The rest of the apartment was equally filthy: dirty floors, dirty glasses (one with a long black hair), fruit flies in the kitchen and an oven too filthy to use.(See photo). Sheets seemed cleaned but the pink blanket cover had stains. No wardrobes or drawers anywhere, which is ridiculous for a 7-night stay. They sent a “handyman” who sprayed fly spray in the kitchen and mould spray in the bedroom, then left within minutes without fixing anything. Two bedrooms were noisy at night and the roof terrace was small, dirty, and completely unusable. We raised these issues during our stay and Booking.com had to step in and handle a partial refund. A €73 refund on a €1,062 stay is insulting. We couldn’t wait to leave. Do not stay here.

  Convenient apartment in the heart of the old town

  Liked: Spacious apartment in the old area of Cádiz near the market. We made good use of the roof top space and enjoyed the hot tub. The apartment has everything you need to cook and some basic essentials are provided such as oil, salt etc Good communication from the agent before and during the rental period.

  Amazing rooftop in central cadiz

  Liked: The location is AMAZING and the roof top is really the highlight of the place. The rooms are quite small but if you only sleep in them it's ok. We rented the place for 6 weeks during our ship Dry-Dock and basically had a normal work life. It was such a pleasure to go home every day and chill on the roof top and in the jacuzzi. We spent a couple of days working there also. We had a couple of problems during our 6 week stay but the team was very helpful and resolved it all. There is a double shower in one room, great to shower as a couple as you are facing eachother and there is a separate toilet. Good when you are 4 living under the same roof

  Disliked: The rooms are small and the walls are thin.
