  Authentic Spanish seaside apartment with good air con and convenient location

  Liked: The location was a bit off the path of the big tourist areas but it was still plenty busy and active. It was easy to get around, catch a bus, etc. The apartment definitely had an authentic Spanish seaside feel to it but with good air con! The hosts were also very responsive anytime we needed help.

  Disliked: Just by nature of it being in an old building, it doesn’t have great sound proofing and so it was quite loud until late (around 2am). There was also a sewage smell in the outside stairway that seemed to come and go. When I mentioned it to the hosts, they said it was normal for the older buildings when the wind changed for the pipes to make a smell. The bathroom was also a squeeze and the shower head is really tall if you’re short. When we arrived, the air con panel was missing so the hosts had to send us a photo of what it looked like so we could use it. Not a dealbreaker because the air con worked great once it got started, but having that replaced or having a photo in the apartment already would’ve been helpful. Finally, the twin beds mattresses are just IKEA foam mattresses. Fine for kids or younger folk, but was a bit rough to sleep on for me.

  Beautifully decorated 2nd floor apartment in a great location

  Liked: Nicely furnished. Great location for visiting my son living close by. Loads of great restaurants and bars very close. Very clean

  Disliked: The stairs! Had to climb 2 flights and then another staircase inside apartment for bed rooms. Okay if you are young and fit but be aware when booking. Not really set up for cooking. There is a hob and a microwave but no oven so limited in what you can do. Very British complaint but no kettle so had to boil water on the hob. Lack of mirrors in bed rooms (only in bathroom on top floor so tricky when getting ready at the same time ). We arrived in a Su day evening so had to find the office to get our keys from a mini safe box. We found it really difficult to find the office as it was inside a square but thankfully we had a really patient taxi driver.
