  Incredible one of a kind host~! Beautifully appointed apartment!

  Liked: As all the other reviews say, the host, Violeta, was a godsend. I've never had such a complete and thorough check-in in all my travels! She is patient, kind, and really helped me with excellent recommendations. I followed ALL of her suggestions, and she was SPOT ON!! I even miscalculated the number of nights I was supposed to stay with her and was stuck without a place to stay for my last night (she was fully booked). Violeta was SO patient with me, so understanding! She recommended a few hotels nearby and let me store my luggage in the common area closet while I walked around looking for another place to stay. She even let me use a beach chair for the day once I got settled down the street. Violeta is a gem! The apartment itself is in an ideal, perfect location near the bus and train stations, which I appreciated because I took a lot of day trips. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of! I really appreciated the coffee and juice in the morning to help me start my days. Gracias Violeta!

  Disliked: The only real issue is the noise factor which is not Violeta's fault of course. The room is right on a street - cars, trucks, vespas, luggage wheels clanking across the stones. It's not a main road so it's not often but all it took was one thing, even two people talking, at 7 am to wake me up. The room is also right off the main entrance of the building so you can hear everyone come in and out, the two sets of doors slamming each time. There's also an interior courtyard where the bathroom window opens out to, so it's really easy to hear doors shutting and people talking because of the echo. The bed was super comfy but sleep did elude me the entire time.

  Perfect for exploring the city and beach!

  Liked: Great location Friendly hosts from start to finish- gave clear directions to the property, a thorough tour and allowed us to store our luggage on the last day Lots of great extras included - Milk, water and spreads in the fridge, toiletries, a washing machine, free use of their beach towels, chairs and umbrella Comfortable bed and good sized bedroom Air conditioning and fans

  Exceptional

  Liked: Love everythings. Violeta and her son are so kind, responsive, attentive, and allow us to check in early and check out late. During our stay, Violeta always make sure if we feel comfortable and always answer all questions. Location is 5-10 min walk from Cadiz main train station, 3-min walk to Conventional center. Nice restaurants nearby. Walkable to main city center, yet far enough to have a peaceful night. The room is larger than photo. Maybe it is high ceiling room, so very good ventilation. There is also a window in the bathroom where you can open and get sun light, so the air always smell fresh! I love it! Some might find the room small, but for me, I call this size is big for two persons: D You can also access the rooftop where you can dry your clothes. Full facilities: washer & detergents, iron, smart TV, hair dyer, AC, fan, cookware, large refridge which Violeta provided us milk & jam, few condiment for cooking, coffee capsule maker etc. Plus, fast wifi, two sets of key, hat, umbrella.

  Liked: Everything was perfect. Violeta was very welcoming to us. She took her time to tell us where to go around Cadiz. She checked up on us on our stay to see how we're doing. I totally recommend this place if you're staying in Cadiz the location is great. Isclose to all the restaurants, shops, and the cathedral. Thank you Violeta!

  My stay was fabulous because of the stellar flat and the extreme generosity of spirit of the hosts

  Liked: Jano Puerto Tierro was exceptional in so many ways. The accommodation was sparkling, clean and incredibly comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom complete with laundry, washing machine, microwave, oven, kettle, stove, and more. The air conditioning worked beautifully as did the overhead fan. Although I did not use it, the hosts even provided access to the roof to dry clothing and beach towels and umbrellas. The location was absolutely perfect, in the old historic city and a five minute walk from the ocean and a beach. It was walking distance to all of the key historical monuments. But honestly, the best part of the accommodation was the hosts. Not only did incredibly sweet Violeta and her charming son Theo meet me at the apartment to give me the keys and introduce me to all aspects of the apartment, but they went above and beyond. I broke my foot and needed surgery in a Cadiz hospital. The hospitality of Violeta and Theo that they showed me was absolutely astonishing. Violeta and Theo came to the hospital to check on me even though it was almost impossible for them to find me there. They offered to bring anything I might need such as food or a phone charger. Violeta stayed apprised of the progress of my surgery while I was in the hospital and after the hospital set me up in the apartment by tidying up all of my things so that I could more easily pack them and even going to the pharmacy for me and bringing me with her to pick up the prescriptions I needed. Theo went to the grocery store to pick up food that I needed. The next morning Violata picked me up at 5:30 AM so that I could make my 6:30 AM train. She helped me to get the wheelchair assistance that I needed. She treated me like beloved family. I was so touched and moved by her and Theo’s generosity of spirit, kindness, compassion, and humility. When I thanked her, she said this is just what people do for each other. I recommend JanoPuerto Tierra wholeheartedly with no reservations!!
