  A fantastic place to enjoy La Caleta Beach and Cádiz

  Liked: The location is perfect if you love going to the nearby beach La Caleta. If you prefer to explore what Cádiz has to offer, you'd be happy to know the apartment is very close to all the main landmarks in the city centre. It shouldn't take more than 15-20 minutes to get to the Cathedral, Mercado or many other small cosy squares to enjoy a meal or just visit one of the many museums. The house features two comfortable bedrooms with a window or a balcony each, and an odd triangular room with a narrow window and a pull out bed, handy if three people staying there don't want to share a bed. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom had a nice shower with several ways to enjoy it (you´ll know what I meant when you turn the tap in the different setting possible). Finally, the living area featured a nice large screen smart TV with access to popular apps, a large comfortable large sofa and a table with chairs to have a meal in. Overall, the place was brightly lit, quiet during our stay, close to everything and we look forward to stay again in the future.

  Disliked: There was some confusion about asking to send ID documents by WhatsApp as that's not allowed by Spanish legislation. Yet we provided the required information by the Spanish government using Booking.com messaging system and the hosts understood it is the right way to do it. A small hiccup we all learnt from.

  Liked: Im general apartment is ok, it's renovated. Close to center.

  Disliked: Beds are not very comfortable, pretty dark as is ground floor. Entrace is old. WiFI did not work at all, asked stuff they say message and did not reply.

  Liked: It was close to places to visit.

  Disliked: The beds were very bad. There was a sleeping place for a total of 7 people, but there was no living space for 7 people. When I opened the sofa, there was no space to move around the house. The kitchen utensils were not enough for 7 people. For example, there were 4 coffee cups. In short, it was a bad experience for us. I'm glad we stayed for one night.

  Wonderful stay, would stay again in a heartbeat!

  Liked: Communication was top notch with the owner. The location was fantastic. Also having a washer and full kitchen was great. The a/c would get so cold and fans were available to push it to the back rooms.

  Disliked: The hot water pressure was low.

  Extremely disappointing experience – complete lack of communication and responsibility

  Disliked: I normally don’t write negative reviews, but in this case, I feel it’s necessary to warn others. After my stay, I realized I had forgotten my running shoes in the apartment – not cheap ones, and of great personal value to me. I contacted the property the very next day, politely asking if they could check and send them back. Of course, I offered to pay for any shipping or related costs. Their response? A short message saying they would contact the cleaning service. And then… nothing. Despite several follow-up messages over the following weeks, I received no further reply. No update, no apology, no effort to help. Just complete silence. It’s now been weeks, and I’ve accepted that I will never see my shoes again – not because they couldn’t be found, but because the hosts clearly had zero interest in helping or even responding. This kind of attitude is simply unacceptable for anyone in the hospitality business. If you value decent communication and a minimum level of care from your hosts, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
