  Not the best place I’ve been to. They need to modernize the place if they’re gonna charge current prices!

  Liked: The staff, the cleaning crew (they worked hard) Location was good.

  Disliked: The shower space was ridiculous, every time you soaped up you hit your elbows, you couldn’t bend over to wash your feet. After a shower the place was inundated. I had to mop myself a couple of times. No elevator for a 5 story building is a huge oversight. The place is antiquated; they still use physical keys. No lights inside the bed space. Mattresses were springy and not that comfortable as most other hostels. If they’re going to charge current prices, they must modernize the place!

  Liked: Friendly, welcoming, helpful staff. Roof top garden. Clean, bright and safe. Great location.

  Crap!

  Liked: My low score is related to the fact that the owner of the hostel cares absolutely NOTHING about the comfort of the guests! Yes, it was clean, there is a nice kitchen, and the location is very good…BUT the entire place (minus the rooftop terrace) is an oven!! There is no ac, which is fine if there are working electric fans, but the fans that are there are 100% completely USELESS!! On my second night I had planned to sleep on the rooftop terrace, but I later learned that they close it off at MIDNIGHT…IN SPAIN!!! Made absolutely no sense. I suppose it is just fine in cooler months, but between May and October, it will be near impossible to sleep and will surely be so uncomfortable that you’ll be counting the minutes until you leave!! To the owner, I say this…stop being so freaking cheap and put some money into making the place comfortable. Replace those useless electric fans with something that actually produces a bit of air circulation!

  Liked: Comfortable rooms and beds in a good location. Staff is kind and helpful.

  Disliked: A real lack of social activities, not a social hostel. Also, way too expensive for what you get (no towel for a $30 dorm room is disappointing)
