Liked: The terrace
Great location, easy parking, and a clean, charming apartment with a lovely seaside atmosphere
Liked: I am so glad I chose this property for our one-week stay on the Costa Brava! The apartment is just steps away from the most picturesque section of the Camí de Ronda, which is a pleasure to walk at any time of day. It is also only a 5-minute downhill walk to El Golfet Beach, a beautiful and less crowded alternative to the main beaches in Calella de Palafrugell. The apartment immediately puts you in a vacation mood, with a lovely terrace overlooking the sea and beautiful surroundings filled with flowers and greenery. The location is very breezy, and although I was initially concerned about the lack of air conditioning, we stayed in early June and did not need it at all. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals or pack a lunch for a day at the beach. Most importantly, the host is incredibly responsive, friendly, and genuinely cares about their guests. Their attention and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Costa Brava.
Disliked: Nothing significant to dislike. As a small heads-up for future guests, be prepared to walk up a few flights of stairs. This is very typical and expected in a beautiful hillside town like Calella de Palafrugell and is part of the charm of the area rather than a drawback. As a minor suggestion for the host, it would be helpful to provide a few more clothespins for the drying rack. The location is wonderfully breezy, but the wind can easily carry away towels and swimsuits left out to dry.
Absolutely unaccepable to try and sleep, or find the place
Liked: No breakfast, no kettle to make tea, no coffee sachets. I am 70 with a bad knee; location is 80 steps up, the location was not made clear, took us 45 minutes to find it at midnight; the outside temp was 30c, the inside was 40c+ as the heating was on. NO AIRCON., which is ridiculous. We left at 7am and will NEVER return. The view was pretty nice.
Disliked: There wasn't much to like, as above.

Disliked: Quite a few steps up to the property. Sofa was a little uncomfortable. No kettle for making tea.

Liked: The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. The check in and check out was great as the hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The area is beautiful and there are great views from the balcony:-)
