  Disliked: ⭐ 1 Star – An Honest Review to Help Other Travellers Make an Informed Decision As someone who travels frequently and has stayed in many hotels around the world, I believe it's important to share honest experiences, both good and bad. I'm not writing this review simply to complain, but to make other travellers aware of what they may experience at Golden Taurus Aquapark Resort before spending their hard-earned money. We arrived late at night and were given a room without the view we had paid for. This wasn't resolved until the following morning, when the manager, Kelly, arranged a better room. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing, very repetitive, bland and lacking in flavour. There was very little variety, with the same or similar dishes being served repeatedly throughout our stay. Breakfast involved queues of up to 20 minutes just for an omelette. Food frequently ran out and wasn't replenished unless guests specifically requested it. For a hotel catering to holidaymakers, I would have expected much better quality, variety and organisation. One of the most concerning experiences was discovering silverfish insects on our bed. Finding insects where we were supposed to sleep was extremely unpleasant and raised serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, Kelly, her exact response was, "This is a normal thing in Spain and in our hotel." I was genuinely shocked by this response. While insects may be common in certain climates, I certainly do not believe guests should be expected to accept insects crawling on their beds as a normal part of their hotel experience. What concerned me even more was how casually the matter was dismissed by management. Another worrying experience was that personal belongings went missing from our rooms during our stay.

  Decent stay

  Liked: Clean and beach access, food was good

  Disliked: Main outside pools were not heated, slides were not functional(off season), air conditioning was turned off due to season change(rooms were still quite warmer).I felt for everything there was a price tag of not an all inclusive option was taken(mine was half board).

  Every second matters!

  Liked: I really enjoyed my stay! The rooms were clean and tidy, with spacious bathrooms. We had breakfast and dinner, both served buffet-style with a huge selection of delicious, well-prepared food. They even offered breakfast from 5:30 a.m. on IRONMAN race day, which was a fantastic touch and much appreciated! Highly recommended - I’ll definitely be back!

Good to know

Groups of more than 4 rooms are not accepted, even if they are booked on different reservations. In the event of such reservations, the hotel reserves the right to cancel them or apply special conditions and/or additional supplements if accepted.

To find out the opening dates of the water park, please check directly with the hotel. The minimum height to access the Aquasplash is 3.3 foot and to access the slides the minimum height is between 4.1 ft and 4.6 ft depending on the slide.

Plase Note: To book the "All Inclusive" in reservations that include more than one room, it is mandatory to select All Inclusive as a regime in all rooms. Failure to comply with this condition will mean the non-admission of the reservation into the All Inclusive program
