Spacious home in a great location, but a little outdated insides

Liked: Great location, really close to the beach. Spacious inside, useful terrace opening from the kitchen. AC in each room, two bathrooms. Relatively modern TV and fridge.

Disliked: Sheets and towels looked dirty (yellow stains, use more bleach!), one bed had hairs in it. First impressions were not great, expected more from the photos - outdated furniture with that characteristic old smell - maybe more thorough cleaning would fix it? Had issues with one of the ACs, had to run DRY mode to make the smell go away. The whole house could use a bit of a modernization. Double bed was really small and uncomfortable for two people.
