  Imagine the most serene restored farmhouse / convent in the mountains and add the best sleep of your life and you ha

  Liked: An incredibly beautiful location, every small touch has been thought of. Laurie, the proprietor of El Conventu, makes you feel like you’ve entered a fairytale as soon as you arrive. Fruit trees, roses, an outdoor kitchen facility, beautiful grounds and an adorable dog Achi and horse Leo as well as cats and sheep you can visit during your stay. We slept so peacefully. There are some great chigres (local bars) nearby and the hospitality is incredible. My favorite stay I’ve ever had. Incredibly romantic and restorative. I could easily have stayed a month or more.

  Stunning property with gorgeous views and animals, felt right at home

  Liked: This was such a beautiful property where we felt entirely at home. We especially loved the flock of sheep, horse, and dog. We loved having the use of a fridge outside to store food and the outdoor seating for enjoying meals outdoors. the views from the property were so stunning. We will absolutely be back if we ever make it back to Asturias.

  Beautiful place in the mountains

  Liked: Feels like being home. The lovely owner takes care of all details. Breakfast is delicious. Facilities are very good.

  Disliked: You need to drive 15’ to get to Cangas and 55’ to get to Covadonga.

  We had a wonderful stay El Conventu del Asturcon, would absolutely recommend!

  Liked: The hotel genuinely exceeded my expectations which is always a nice thing to say. The room was lovely, the setting and views were amazing, Laurie was an amazing host, the facilities were really good clean and tidy so what more could you want. It also has a lovely little pool which is nice after spending the day exploring, also the BBQ facilities were a very nice treat. And thanks again for the Cider Laurie:) Breakfast was great really. Good value all in all so would recommend. Laurie even dabbled her hand at baking fresh bread amongst other things so was a nice touch. 10/10.

  Disliked: It is remote in that it is a 15 drive from anywhere however we knew that before booking.
