  Nice hotel, strange management responses and one rude staff

  Liked: Modern, comfortable bedroom and bathroom

  Disliked: One rude and aggressive staff overseeing breakfast. One of us asked the receptionist the night before to request breakfast with one staff member. Upon arrival at the buffet in the morning, the staff member refused to accept that the request had been made as "it was not written on the list". Point blank refusal on accepting the order. All the food was already laid out. It was a very unusual, aggressive, and unnecessary response. We left a review on Google and the initial response was a generic thank you for your comment. The following day after full check out, the response was expanded to point out that it was our fault after they "thoroughly checked their computer records". The hotel management seems to do this frequently with other reviews.

  Good location to explore the Picos d'Europa, but on the expensive side for value

  Liked: - the staff was friendly and very helpful - the room was very comfortable, including excellent AC - it is located slightly outside of Cangas de Onis, you can reach it in a few minutes by car, excellent location in you want to explore the Picos de Europa - the hotel does offer the possibility to take a breakfast (12 Euros per person). It is nice with plenty of choices.

  Disliked: - the hotel is close to a busy road; we knew it before but did not fully anticipate how close and the noise level. in the room itself the noise was ok, but the nice terrace in front of the hotel is rather noisy - the main drawback was the price to value ratio; the room was expensive for what it is compared to other hotels in the region; at that price level I would expect that the breakfast would be included for example.

  A great comfortable place the explore the area from

  Liked: The hotel was impeccably clean and nicely decorated. My room was spacious, quiet and the bed comfortable. Plentiful parking and an easy drive to Cangas de Onis for restaurants as well as for exploring the surrounds All the staff were friendly and helpful

  Disliked: This was not a big issue but tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms would be great
