  Liked: This is a lovely cosy hotel, with wonderful views, but what made it extra special was the hospitality the host could not do more for us he was friendly and welcoming and was a wonderful chief, everything was beautifully presented. If walking the GR7 a great place to stay.

  Nice locations, room had no airco/ventilator

  Liked: Beautiful location, at 5m drive from Pitres town. Private parking is available. Nice cosy hotel with small pool and beautiful views. Good shower and spacious bedroom.

  Disliked: There is no airco, neither a ventilator in the room I had. If you go in summer (like I did), please check in advance with the owners if they can give you a cooled room. I took the hotel as it is close to start the hike to the Mulhacen and went to bed early. As the room was hot I couldn't sleep till 2AM. Opening the windows was a bit better (mosquitos enter) but my room was next to the dining area having noise till 12.30 at night. Luckily I fell asleep at 2AM to have at least 4h of sleep.

  Perfect for the Alpujarra

  Liked: Scenic views, well situated for the Alpujarra, underfloor heating, ample parking. Excellent shower.

  Lovely hotel in fabulous location

  Liked: Stunning location with expansive mountain and sky views. Fabulous sunrise, sunset and starlit skies. Lovely hotel. We were upgraded to the suite which was a nice touch. Excellent dining and bar area. Inside and outside options. Francisco was a first class host and nothing was too much trouble. His evening meal was delicious. Although it was closed the pool and pool area look as if they are a nice addition.

  Disliked: The sat nav had difficulty finding the hotel... it took three attempts. The ramp up to the large car park needs careful negotiation and may be a challenge for low suspension cars / sports cars.

  Incredible staff

  Liked: My partner and I got into a car accident on the way to the hotel and Francisco, the manager, truly went above and beyond to help us—he drove us back and forth from the hotel to the town multiple times, helped us contact the local authorities, coordinated with the tow truck, all while serving us a lovely dinner and maintaining exactly the sort of calm kindness that’s so invaluable in a crisis. Honestly, he made an experience that could have completely ruined our trip into just a minor blip. Thank you, Francisco.
