  Liked: A lovely, simple, self contained apartment. Bubion is a small, typical white village of the area. We walked up to Capileira.. an easy walk.

  Disliked: It was so hot in the second bedroom with no exterior window.It would have been very good to have a plug in fan.

  Great base for a relaxing break in the Alpujarras

  Liked: Bubión itself was delightful, really calm and peaceful, yet with plenty of choice of places to eat and drink. The apartment was excellent, really spacious, well equipped with a small interior terrace, as well as a small balcony and use of the communal garden and furniture. Great views of the Poqueira Gorge. Lovely welcome from Vanesa, who was readily available to help if needed. We had lovely meals at Plaza 6, La Orza de la Villa and great tapas at Teide. Can highly recommend the museum, Museo Casa Alpujarreña, and the recently opened Art Gallery at the top end end of the village.

  Disliked: Nothing to dislike, but be aware that parking can be a little tricky due to the narrow streets. We parked in main car park - entrance by Restaurante Teide - and walked the 3 minutes or so to the apartments.
