Fabulous
Unforgettable experience staying in a medieval castle with magnificent views and exceptional dining
Liked: This was our absolute favorite stay—it’s not every day you get to spend the night in a monumental medieval castle! The 360-degree views were out of this world, and the room was very comfortable with an incredible view right from the window. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and how quiet it was throughout the castle, making it feel almost like we had the whole place to ourselves. The breakfast was also amazing with an enormous variety, and the overall dining experience was wonderful.
Disliked: Honestly, there was not a single thing we didn't like about our stay here.
Excellent hotel in a Medieval Castle
Liked: The hotel is located inside the medieval castle. That in itself, it absolutely amazing. The view from the room, and from around the castle are outstanding. They have a great restaurant and bar, with very good food. The staff is super friendly. One can go around the castle exploring all of its various rooms and hidden places, which was a great experience for us. The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable. The toilets were well appointed.
Liked: Unique location within the Cardona castle, excellent breakfast with many choices. Both room and bathroom were very large and comfortable.
Disliked: Very hard beds, uncomfortable for me.

Great Paradores staff - always a smile - visit the salt dome
Liked: I usually mix one or two Paradores with a motorcycle tour plan. This one was exceptional. Restaurant staff very friendly even with my limited Spanish... Be prepared for a steep walk back if you head to Cardona the bars are friendly and i experienced a good menu del dia there Also worth visiting the Montanya del Sal. Unique and purest salt dome -....
Disliked: Difficult parking for motorcycles..
