  Liked: Excellent setting in centre of town and charming small property

  Disliked: I don’t like the lack of on site staff. Having reception staff is an important part of the experience

  Quaint hotel, excellent central location

  Liked: Nice building. Quite traditional in style. Quaintly decorated room, good size, with nice view over the square.

  Disliked: The shower over the roll top bath...water was going everywhere. It was not set to contain water when using the shower, hence a small tsunami ensued

  Off the beaten path was an understatement

  Liked: Quiet, good value for money

  Disliked: The place was extremely difficult to find. There's a one-way winding road that snakes through the village, and parking is almost non-existent. We didn't see any staff at any time while we were there. Some decent directions, advice on parking, and advice on where to eat would have been helpful

  Disliked: Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. The first room smelled of smoke or something similar. The armchair on the balcony broke the first time I sat down in it. The double bed was super narrow. We asked for a different room and were given one. Neither window could be closed because the bottom hinges were missing. The street outside was relatively noisy. The shower was dirty and parts of it were moldy. The front door slams shut and is very loud. Unfortunately, this is really not a good place to stay and not recommended!

  Central stay in Carmona

  Liked: The locatuon on the main square was great, good to be right in the centre of locap activity. Once we received our check in instructions access to our room was very clearly explained. The courtyard and lobby area with coffee makimg facilities was also very welcome.

  Disliked: It would be helpful to have a kettle to boil water for tea.
