    Wonderful stay overall

Liked: Fantastic location, beautiful environment, a magnificent balcony taking full advantage of a view over nature at its best. Enjoyed the quietness of the place and the amazing natural life present in the close vicinity: gazelles and wild goats. A most friendly, impeccable staff.

Disliked: Room not so good, with no view, windows exceedingly small, allowing very poor natural light.

Restful stay in exquisite natural environment

Liked: Classical paradores breakfast with grated tomatoes, salmorejo cheese and meats and options for warm dishes, Location is extraordinary, if you're looking for a quiet natural environment, this is it. Great view from the terrace, local animals come visit the garden at dusk: we saw foxes. Great place to take hikes, the staff will assist you on picking a hike. The hotel has Bariloche vibes.

Disliked: The temperature of the swimming pool was very cold. Its location is truly in the mountains, so from Cazorla town it was a 35 minutes drive. Prepare for that.

    An oasis of calm

Liked: This has been the best hotel.of my trip. The Hotel is located on top of a mountain. The views are spectacular. It also has a pool, bar and restaurant. After a week of riding I needed somewhere to relax. This is an oasis of tranquility and the staff are incredible.

Brilliant location for a real getaway!

Liked: I have mobility problems so was upgraded to a suite in the main building. Location and views were fantastic. The staff were professional and all could speak English.

Disliked: When you pay a lot for your accommodation one would expect decent toilet paper not a cheap brand.

How I envisioned it would be

Liked: This Parador is within a national park, 35 minutes from the closest town. Getting to it is via a very twisty mountain road. Those who don’t like that type road should consider another location. It is good for outdoors enthusiasts or for those who just want piece and quiet. Once there, visitors are greeted with a stunning view of the mountains. The Parador isn’t overly large. Parking is in a courtyard and there is an EV charging point. Check in was easy. There’s a cozy, yet decent sized lounge for relaxing or for groups to gather. The room was fairly standard for a Parador and had everything one needs. It looked out over the mountains; not all rooms do. Neither complimentary water nor a pot for boiling water was provided like in some Paradors, but there were hiking poles that came in handy when walking a couple of the trails by the hotel. The staff was very cordial and helpful.
