  Almost certainly the best hotel in Chipiona overlooking beach

  Liked: Fantastic location first line overlooking beach. Lovely rooftop pool, clean modern well maintained rooms, extensive high quality breakfast. Super helpful and friendly staff at reception, pool bar and restaurant.

  Chipiona - a hidden gem

  Liked: Chipiona is a new find for us but is our absolute favourite now. Hotel agaro cannot be faulted, fabulous seafront location, beautiful clean rooms (book early if you want a terrace /sea view room, we’re already booked in for June 27 and haven’t been on our September holiday yet), the breakfast menu is wonderfully fresh with a station for freshly cooked eggs/pancakes/smoothies. The pool area is always clean and looks over the sea front, staff are always welcoming and friendly. The fragrance that permeates the hotel is dreamy! The terrace bar area is a delight serving food all day and drinks, prices are incredibly low in line with all the local hostelries. Chipiona itself is a lovely little town, typically spanish and untouristy which is what we love, with Cadiz coming a close second. The people are always very friendly and welcoming, especially when you make the effort to speak the language. 🇪🇸 The local market is wonderful also doubling as a great place to eat and drinks. The sherry bars are a delight, everything is very low in price. I could wax lyrical relentlessly about Chipiona and hotel Agaro, it is 100% a fabulous place to go but 🤫 don’t tell everyone!

  We really enjoyed our stay

  Liked: Great hotel, clean room, lovely staff- at the reception, waiters, really attentive, it’s not usual nowadays. the location is perfect. We will be back for sure.

  Base for MotoGP @ Circuito de Jerez

  Liked: Big room and bath.

  Disliked: Breakfast started a bit late for this MotoGP weekend. Maybe start 7.30 these weekends to support people going to the track. Crazy noisy during evening/night but can’t blame the hotel for that. Assume a regular weekend without MotoGP is calm and silent.

Our meals are all buffet-style. However, during periods of low occupancy, we can change our menu to a table-served menu. In this case, you can order any dish from the menu as many times as you like.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in.
