Old hotel charme
Liked: Easy to find, quite large rooms, old style hotel well maintained.
Disliked: Buffett breakfast, coffee was very good, everything else was COLD AND AVERAGE.,
Overall we enjoyed our stay
Liked: Good car parking, very well situated, seemed a slightly old fashioned hotel but none the worse for that. Would definitely use again
Disliked: The breakfast arrangement was not great, in the basement, no window. No bowls for cereal, we were told to use tea cups! The rotary toaster was pathetic, 8 circuits to toast a piece of bread. Mentioned it to the supervisor but he seemed uninterested!
Great location with helpful & friendly staff
Liked: The location was very good, parking included in price was a bonus. Room was a good size & bed was comfortable. Nice that there’s a bar to use there in the evenings.
Disliked: Only thing didn’t like was that we had a dormer window, which is absolutely fine, but unable to open blind which made room quite dark without lighting being on. It was okay for 1 nights stay, but more than that would prefer to be able to see out of window or open blind.

Liked: Big room clean but a little noisy if road side friendly helpful staff with good breakfast free underground parking but a bit tight if you have a big car
