Exceptional
Beautiful property with such amazing hosts
Liked: This was a lovely stay on my Camino! This is a family-run establishment, and Carlos, Ana, and Ava were all super friendly and helpful. I had a nice room with an amazing shower. There is also a pool on the property which was quite cold and perfect to ice the legs after a long day of walking. Carlos drove me to the monastery for a pilgrim’s blessing and to get some food. He cooked me an amazing breakfast spread the next morning before driving me to the start of the path. Overall, this was an excellent stay and I would definitely come back!!
Liked: Nice comfortable room. Breakfast was good. Dinner is available at the property. It is reasonably priced and tasty, though the chicken stew was bery dalty.
Disliked: The family rooms are two twin beds placed next to each other and another twin bed perpendicular and about 2 feet from the other beds. I applaud the effort to save water, but the warning that hot water is limited made me worry that I would run out of hot water in the shower
Well worth diverting off the Camino to enjoy…
Liked: A delightful property in a rural location with every detail considered. This family-run business is welcoming and very comfortable. After a long day of walking the pool was welcome and the hot shower after was much appreciated. Slept so well in such a quiet and comfortable setting. Lovely bar area with indoor and outdoor seating and delicious breakfast served in the morning. Highly recommended.
Liked: Private bungalows with excellent bedding, the swimming pool, the incredibly attentive staff who packed us a picnic breakfast because we needed to leave earlier than breakfast hours. The pick up and drop-off at Armenteira Monasteryif you are doing the spirtual route.

Liked: Fabulous place to stay!!! It was clean, well decorated and the reception staff were outstanding! I arrived after a very long day of walking in the rain…they welcomed me with open arms and were very gracious hosts. Free transportation to ArmenteriA for pilgrim mass. Definitive one of my favorites places to stay during my entire trip. Lovely—thank you!

Liked: Absolutely everything! The employees were AMAZING! So helpful, professional, kind, and welcoming! The accommodations were lovely! Plenty of room, very clean, had a portable AC for ventilation, a cute cooler with water bottles and a small tea service. The bungalows were separate, so very quiet and private. The pool was so refreshing after a long day of walking! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious! The surrounding scenery was beautiful! Rides to and from were provided from the monastery, which was great after a long walk to Armenteira. I loved everything about this stay!
Disliked: Having to leave and wishing I had stayed a day or two longer.
