  First time doing a self catering trip to Tenerife, Whala was perfect, lovely pool, friendly staff

  Liked: Pool was lovely, No ques for sun loungers we went to pool late one morning and still able to get some by the pool. Found it difficult to sleep with noise of car traffic, but location was great. Everything we needed was at our doorstep, lovely restaurants nearby. Staff so lovely and very helpful. 10 minutes walk to the strip, We would definitely return back.

  Disliked: If our room had an oven or an airfryer we would have cooked more in the room. But that didn’t upset our stay. Room was a little small for a family of 3 but it was fine.

  Enjoyable stay overall

  Liked: Good location, nice staff, very clean, good pool bar.

  Disliked: Too many sunbeds and not enough parasols. We were there when there was a heatwave, it was extremely hot but we couldn’t get any shade. Also, the air con units have to be rented for 10€ per night and there’s not enough to go around.

  Great little hotel

  Liked: All the staff members were super helpful and friendly. Snack bar food was great and a lovely lady called Cata

  Excellent budget friendly hotel

  Liked: Only there as a stop over for one night but all staff were very friendly,. especially tom and mario from the bar/cafe.
