  Good flat with poor service

  Liked: The apartment itself was pretty good with 2 bedrooms

  Disliked: 1. there was a sunshade belonging to the terrace, but we could not use it 2. there is a nice pool, but it was closed during the hottest days of the summer 3. Check-in is only possible till 10pm, and in case we arrive late, I was told to be charged €30 extra (in cash only). At the end, I had to stay over in Seville to be able to check-in the next day..... it is very poor compared to the many self-checkin options on the market.

  Liked: A lovely location on a hill in the peaceful village of El Rompido, overlooking the picturesque mouth of the Rio Piedras. A fenced-off complex of buildings with terraces. A grassy beach, sunbeds and a swimming pool for residents of the ‘urbanización’. A first-floor apartment with views of the swimming pool, the river mouth and the ocean. Clean, spacious and well-equipped. This flat did not have air conditioning, but ceiling fans and windows facing north and south made it bearable even at temperatures of up to 36 degrees Celsius. The landlord was friendly and helpful in every situation. A space in the underground car park is available.

  Disliked: Access to the swimming pool ends on 6 September (2026 season), or perhaps a few days later. For a visitor from a cold country, this is too early. At weekends, you can hear live music from the town’s bars, but it is not a hassle

  A simple and clean apartment and an excellent base to explore from

  Liked: Car parking under the apartment and the security was very good. It was a very quiet place which was great.

  Disliked: The swimming pool looked great but unfortunately did not open until June so we could look at it but could not go into it!

  Beautiful, moden apartment with good facilities

  Liked: Beautiful property, modern, great facilities. Welcoming staff, good communication. Highly recommended.

  Disliked: The only disappointment was that we never did find a way to walk to the shops and restaurants that are only 2 streets below this apartment building. The building is surrounded by a high fence with no access to the space below, and there does not appear to be any way to walk down the hill in front of the building to the commercial area, which is extremely close as the crow flies. We were left to drive a relatively long way around the urbanization to reach the restaurants.

  Liked: Stunning views and fantastic terrace. Loved watching the sunrise and sunset from the terrace. Apartment was clean and very well equipped. Gabriel met us on arrival and showed us everything.
