Guest reviews
Fabulous
Liked: Location, value for money, service
Liked: Nice hotel with spacious rooms. We liked the comfortable beds and the breakfast, although we were missing some vegetables and eggs.
Disliked: The hotel is located on the main street and it was pretty noisy late at night and early morning. There were not many options for dinner and we had to drive to other places.
Liked: Bars and restaurants nearby
Disliked: No bar or restaurant in the hotel
You don’t need long here
Liked: The property was clean and near to Rioja bodegas. The bodega across the road was lovely and very cheap. The girl serving was not friendly at all.
Disliked: Didn’t really see the staff only on arrival. We went to go to Marqués de Caceres wine tour but it was closed because of the summer. Cenicero was very quiet in the day but came to life about 8 pm. There was nowhere to get a sit down meal but there was a lovely local tapas bar.
Liked: We stayed at this hotel for one night and were disappointed with the experience. The room was fine for a night’s sleep, but it lacked any real charm, and the bathroom was not particularly clean when we arrived. The breakfast was also far below the standard we would expect from a four-star hotel. Unfortunately, the welcome and overall service did not meet the level we would expect from a four-star property either. Overall, we felt that the hotel did not live up to its four-star rating and would not recommend it based on our experience.
Great central hotel
Liked: Hotel is right in the centre of the village easy walking distance to bars/restaurants. Friendly lady on reception and check in was quick & easy. Large room with nice bathroom. Was a red hot evening and staff had put an air conditioner in the room which was great. Breakfast was taken on the terrace. Really nice selection, something for everyone. For all you motorcyclists out there we parked in the secure underground garage. Deffo stay again.
Disliked: Nothing
