Best Stay Ive had doing the El Camino so far

Liked: This is the nicest place Ive stayed since starting the Camino, usually opting for hotels. The decor was great, the size was great, had everything I needed and super clean and tidy. Good location. The surprise of the trip so far!

Disliked: I really liked the property in every way. I was earlier than checkin so I had to wait for it to be cleaned but that’s a good thing.

    A disgrace

Liked: Nothing good to say. This was a disgrace

Disliked: Firstly, they refused me access. I was standing outside the property, the keys were in the lockbox. The property was empty. I was on the phone to the owner and they still refused to give me the number to open the lockbox to allow me entry saying that it had to be done by email. Six times I spoke to them, and they wouldn’t let me in. when I finally did get in, I found a place to be very dark not particularly clean food left over from previous tenants. There’s a washing machine put no washing up liquid so it’s not really funny. Use the TV isn’t working so the lights aren’t working. No soap for shampoo they’re there but they are empty. I got the impression that all of these things. Are what’s left behind by previous tenants so for example if you want to use the washing machine, you buy washing up liquid you’re hardly gonna take it with you and so they’re counting on it being left behind. Also it’s not particularly clean (see pic) under bere pipes and wires across the walls. I’ve stayed in some really good and really poor places on my trip in Spain and this was by far the worst.

Lovely place in a beautiful location

Liked: Good location within a few minutes walk of all facilities, shops and restaurants.

Disliked: It was difficult to find due to road being closed for ongoing road construction. I would have appreciated some notice regarding this.

Great stay, very clean, but read the small print on kitchen use for 1 night

Liked: Easy instructions to find the apartment, located along the Camino path, on a quiet street. Very clean, big bed, comfortable stay. We were allowed in a bit earlier. Very central to the town.

Disliked: We were not allowed to cook in the kitchen, as we only stayed over one night (did not see this info when booking); wished there were pegs to hang laundry outside. Otherwise, great stay.

Disliked: The hosts made us change the number of ppl staying — however I searched the property for 2 ppl, they said I was only one. I had to call Booking.com to sort it out, it took hours.. but in the end they still charged us for the room! Complete scam.
