  Great location shame about the house - we would not rebook this property

  Liked: The location of the place, very easy to find. Good restaurants and supermarkets locally

  Disliked: The house was divided into 2 (misleading) this meant the kitchen was too small and there wasn't any private area to socialise with the family inside or outside. Pictures of the property where misleading as it showed the property as a whole house not one that was split in half. This property was not value for money we felt very disappointing as this was our only holiday this summer. The kitchen had a small window at the bottom of the stairs which meant the space was dark. On entering the house the living space and kitchen smelt of damp. Having a balcony that only fitted a small table and chair was not what we expected. I was expecting a sun terrace/ balcony - like the one on the booking site. The kitchen did not work as it was too small, the freezer door was frozen shut, kitchen utensils did not match and were old. There was no work space in the kitchen to prepare meals The bath towels where worn and bleached stained. First bedroom had a window which you could not open (no air), the front bedroom which use to be the balcony was glasses so it was very hot, you could not close the bedroom door due to the bed so the aircon was very little help to cool down the room. Only one light switch in the upstairs corridor worked. The bathroom sink plug was broken, we had to call for maintenance to fix and we were advised not to push the plug down (so we could not fill the sink up to wash/shave. The house needs a bit of TLC as it felt unfinished We were not informed of the outside building works - the noise was constant and went on for 6 days, the pool needed maintenance and had a grim stain around the pool. The smell of the drains was very unpleasant which meant sitting by the pool was uncomfortable. The price we paid for our stay did not meet our expectations which resulting our family to leave a day early

  Very Tired Apartment with Questionable Business Practices

  Liked: As others have said the deposit was a total nightmare, I hadn't spotted this as we are never asked for a deposit & luckily we had Revolut otherwise not sure what we would have done as it is requested the day you are about to arrive. Deposit was refunded 2 days after departure & communication during this time was zero from the hosts & i was starting to think we had been scammed. The contents of the apartment would struggle to amount to 150 euros so not sure why this amount is necessary? The photos need updating as there is no longer a sea view, the trees have grown & buildings have been built which completely blocks the sea view. Anyway, you can park outside & there are bars/restaurants & supermarkets & the beach within a 5 minute walk. The main area of Estepona with the traditional restaurants in the Old Town is a good 30 minute walk along the front

  Disliked: Apartment badly needs updating, even new pillows, bedding & towels would be an improvement in the right direction.

  Disliked: I rented this apt for my nephew. I live at the urbanization right next to the beach bungalow. At check in time (3:00 pm) and before the manager refused to give me the apt number or lock box number to access the keys. My nephew and I found the apt and finally a friend of the managers came to us and gave us the lock box number. It was 7:00 pm before we could access the apt. I have been doing business with Booking for many years and strongly suggest dropping this booking. The manager never apologized for his behavior.
