  Liked: The location, as it was close to the beach and shops and restaurants. It didn't get top marks due to a lot of building work going on opposite and the uncomfortable seating on the balcony

  Disliked: The apartment was shabby and not particularly clean. The cupboards were very untidy. The worst part was not only having to dispose of used toilet paper in a bin, the toilet cistern would not fill up, so we had to take cistern lid off each time and push down the mechanism to enable it to fill, I suggest this is updated. We called in the host on the 1st night regarding the toilet and was told it was fixed, but it wasn't as we had to do it ourselves.

  Ideal location. Owners are responsive. Home from home

  Liked: Excellent location, close to everything. Wi-fi good.

  Disliked: Can be noisy, due to central location and building work going on on adjoining street. Shower room is exceptionally small. Can't change size of shower room nor control building works. Could supply instructions on sofa bed, microwave and extending table. Iron and hairdryer supplied which is ideal as well as use of washing machine and fridge freezer.

  Excellent place to stay, brilliant location and great value

  Good, but room for improvements

  Liked: Good location, nice hosts, on the seafront with a side view of the ocean.

  Disliked: Cleanliness should be improved, particularly in the shower. Also the balcony was dirty, which made sitting there not very pleasant. And for people with long hair, having no hairdryer in cold weather basically means they cannot wash their hair, which is quite annoying, particularly if you plan to stay longer. I would ask the hosts to improve this.

  With a little investment this is a nice place in the making

  Liked: Awesome location

  Disliked: Toilet leaking across the bathroom floor with every flush … possibly miscommunication between cleaners and owners who knows but not great and expected that fixed asap before other guests have to put up with the problem

  Everything you need for a great stay

  Liked: The location could not be beaten, on the edge of the old town right by the beach. The apartment was spotless, with all the facilities including fast internet. Marian was a great host, there on time and all the information we needed. Excellent stay.
