  Terrible mattresses, everything else perfect

Liked: 1. The Building is great. It’s new and very clean. The apartment is bright, clean and spacious with blackout shades. The location is great: It’s a nice 12-15 minute walking distance to the beach or 10-12 minutes to the lively old-town’s restaurants and shopping (downhill to the beach, uphill back). The neighborhood is clean, lit and safe.

Disliked: 1. Beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable. My husband likes a firm mattress and I’m not picky, but we both suffered on these beds for 2 weeks. I should have listened to previous reviews…it’s a serious problem in both bedrooms. Comfortable mattresses in a guest house should be a #1 priority and the number of reviews stating this should be enough to make it an immediate action. I would love to stay here again if they change the mattresses or add a quality memory foam topper. 2. No trash cans in bathrooms 3. Toilet seat lid is missing in one bathroom 4. No Ironing board (although there’s an iron) 5. No clothes dryer as listed in description 6. The queen bed has a queen-size duvet cover, but no queen duvet. There are two twin/single duvets in the closet. 7. Cheap decor, bed-clothes, and kitchen equipment — quality doesn’t match quality of the building/apartment.

  Perfect for family stays

Liked: Nice indoors temperature and well lit, and well equipped with appliances.

Disliked: Could improve the cookware with an extra saucepan, dishes and cutlery.

Don’t expect fast response if you encounter an issue

  Liked: The location

Disliked: Shame María didn’t do what she said she would do. I booked because there was secure parking and was unable to use. Contacted her Saturday evening took nearly 24hrs to respond, arranged to come to the apartment to fix garage fob on the Monday morning she did not show

Great new modern apartment, 10 minutes from the main front bars and restaurants

Liked: I found the apartment after a a little drive around and instructions from the owner

Disliked: There was someone waiting for me, If they could have been a little more obvious, wearing a yellow T shirt for instance then I would have seen her earlier.
