  Ezcaray a Gem

  Liked: The staffs are exceptional especially the owner. When arrived gave a warm welcome and a personal tour of the town including recommendations of good value restaurants. Who would do that?!

  Disliked: No elevator so make 'sure you're fit to take luggage up to your room but we didn't mind. It was well worth the experience. Ezcaray is a 💎 gem.

  Amazing family run hotel

  Liked: Amazing hotel. Given their star rating we did not expect much. We were pleasantly surprised. Amazing hotel - great, modern rooms. Restaurant serving exceptional food - the best on our trip by far! Can highly recommend - staff goes out of their way to help.

  An excellent choice in Ezcaray

  Liked: Attractive boutique hotel in a restored building in the centre of Ezcaray. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Warm welcome from the friendly staff. Hotel operates an excellent informal tavern, popular with locals. (An additional, formal restaurant on the ground floor was not operating on the Thursday in June when we visited.)

  Disliked: Minor niggle: power sockets are connected to lightswitches. If you want to charge devices, you have to do it with the lights on. Guests with mobility issues might find the stairs challenging.
