  Lovely relaxing character property

  Liked: Love the character and charm of the property and the village. Excellent walks for the dogs. The convenience of arrival time and access to the property. Everything you need to relax after a hard days driving.

  This charming home has the original beams, doors, and windows. Do watch your head upstairs

  Liked: A charming, rustic home with original beams, doors and windows. It’s a very safe area.

  Disliked: The address was actually 32, not 30 as in our print out, so we had some difficulty finding the apartment. Our hostess sent us a video so we found it.

  Authentic but with fatal flaws

  Liked: It's a very authentic old building and the outside patio was a nice place to relax. Parking was easy enough, just around the corner.

  Disliked: We didn't need it because it was only 23C, but the facilities list air-conditioning, which doesn't exist. Reviewers have been pointing this out for over 2 years. I didn't check the whole list of facilities, so I can't say if there are other things listed that don't exist. Since the end of last year, the Spanish government insists on collecting a lot of personal data about guests - more than enough to steal your identity if unauthorised people get hold of it. So I wasn't impressed that the traveller information forms from the previous guests were in the drawer in the living room for anyone to copy. We could copy full names, passport numbers, signatures, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers etc if we wanted to. Also, I think there were beds for about 8 people, but 5 of them were in 1 room with a low ceiling. The other 3 were in the main bedroom. And there was only 1 small bathroom/shower with an entrance from the main bedroom only. For me, the property is only really suitable for 2 adults and maybe 2-3 children.

  Exceptional

  Liked: Our host was lovely and so kind and amazing. The house was beautiful and you could tell that she put extra effort into all the touches to make it so comfortable for us. It was clean and had everything we needed. There are a LOT of stairs - so from an accessibility standpoint - be aware.
