Where to stay in Falset: the best areas

Historic centre

Falset has the arcaded Plaça de la Quartera, the castle and the modernista cooperative winery by Cèsar Martinell. In the centre there are small hotels, guesthouses and restaurants. It is the base with the most services for winery routes around the Priorat and Montsant.

Outskirts and masies

Around the town there are masies among vineyards and olive groves converted into rural hotels or holiday cottages, some at wineries that run tastings. They are quiet and have views, but you will have to drive for dinner.

Nearby villages

Gratallops, Porrera, El Molar and Marçà are a short distance away and have places to stay with few rooms in wine villages. They suit a trip built around wine. If you drink at the tastings, sort out who is driving or book a visit with transport.
