  Went too fast!

  Liked: Albert was an amazing host. He met us on the first evening and led us down the road to his beautiful villa. He was very attentive and an absolute legend when we managed to get a flat tyre. The view from the villa was stunning and we loved the remoteness but also being within distance of a town. Great cooking facilities and open family area. All the rooms have en-suites. The pool was great when it got too hot. Amazing sunsets.

  Disliked: Feels as though I am nit picking, as this is very minor, but cushions on the outside seats as they were a little uncomfortable if you sat on the for too long. Nothing else though.

  Great place to stay! As advertised

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Les Quimeres. The host, Albert, is friendly and really made sure we had a great stay. Albert also gave us a tour and tasting of the wines that he produces on the farm (pre planned with him for a small fee). The house is as pictured and the surrounding property of vineyards is so beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked and we made use of the barbecue facility outside. We also lit the fire inside in the evenings, which made the whole house so warm! It is also possible to walk from the accommodation to Falset, the nearby village, on a path directly from the house. I can recommend this as a great place to stay in the area!

  Disliked: There is nothing we did not like. Yes, the drive in is a little rocky and steep, but manageable for a car going slowly.

  Perfect Family Retreat

  Liked: Albert, the host was absolutely lovely. The property is ancient (literally) but kept up very nicely. We had everything we needed to be comfortable and the location is gorgeous. Take a tour of the vineyard—its history is beautiful.

  Disliked: We had an SUV with all wheel drive which was very helpful in getting to and from the house.

  Exceptional

  Liked: It's a wonderful place in a stunning location. The host was super responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend it, especially if you like wine.

  Disliked: It wasn't a problem for us, but you should know that to access the property you need to drive on a steep dirt road (but it's very scenic - goes through the vineyards!)

  Liked: Peace and quiet, beautiful scenery wherever you look. Great kitchen! Amazing wine 🍷

  Disliked: Some closets or shelves in the bedrooms would be a nice comfortable upgrade of a long stay
