Exceptional
Liked: Everything was amazing
Disliked: It was advertised as located in Corcubion when in fact it was located in A Alamena
Liked: Great location, bathroom with a large shower cabin, comfortable beds. If you're looking to see the sunrise from the Fisterra (as you should - the sunset folk don't know what they're missing), it's hard to wish for a better spot, as it allows you to walk the final stretch easily in the dark and see the town still starlit beforehand (as opposed to starting from Fisterra itself).
Disliked: Confusing check-in process: I received a PIN beforehand bit with no instructions as to getting inside the albergue (there might be a smart lock accessible through an app, but the message I received wasn't clear on whether the app is required for entry or just the survey afterwards). The keypad finally flashed green after entering PIN + bell button but the door would not open. After calling the owner (and an amused "Even though you have a phone?" at my explanation that I didn't understand how the lock works) it turned out that the bell has to be pressed quickly after the PIN so the lock itself flashes green and opens (sorry for the details, but I hope it helps someone in the future). Once inside, the owner double-checked I got no other code before opening a locker by the door inside where the keys to my room were stashed. The most labyrynthian system I ever came across for sure, missing instructions notwithstanding. The room itself was also very cold - I live in a similar house in high mountains so I know it's difficult to heat such places and I'm used to being cold, but still, the only way to sleep through the night for me was to wear a hoodie on top of my sleepwear + duvet + blanket. There are radiators in the room but they did not work no matter what.
Liked: Room clean, wash/dry facilities were availabke and included.
Disliked: Isolated area, limited facilites nearby.
Liked: The place was simple, clean and straight to the point. Exactly what you'd expect from a hostel.

Disliked: In the triple room there were very few electrical sockets. Soap in the bathroom was missing near to the sink. Texted the staff after dinner to ask for Wi-Fi access but received no reply. Since we stayed only one night it was a bit unhelpful
