Exceptional
Pleasant, relaxing, understated hotel in a dramatic coastal location in genuine Tenerife
Liked: A family run hotel with a warm welcome, great staff at every level, spacious room and en-suite, comfortable bed with views over the town square and churches. Internally this 16th century building is as stunning as the pictures suggest. Breakfast was delightful every morning and the food in the restaurant equally impressive in range and quality.

Liked: Garachico is small but lovely. This hotel is literally at its center.
Disliked: I liked every aspect. A shame that the restaurant isn’t open every night. But I understand why that is not their decision. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room off the ground floor. Old building, creaky floors. I’m not complaining, just giving a heads up.
Stay here or you will regret it!
Liked: Beautiful, historic hotel in prime location. All very tastefully furnished with a gorgeous courtyard. Rooms are elegant and spacious with great en suite shower room. Food is excellent, had a wonderful supper in the restaurant and the breakfasts are perfect for me. Lots of choice, mostly cold but soooo good. Staff, without exception, are friendly and professional.
Disliked: No on site parking, we parked close by in the street but it’s pot luck. However there is a large car park a few streets away. Also note the hotel is called La Quinta Roja not Hotel Livvi.

Liked: An old « historic » building with lots of wood, an atrium (open space), and stone steps - modernized and renovated to be a nice and modern hotel. Stuff extremely helpful and friendy Very nice surroundings, in the old town of Garachico

Exquisite historic charm
Liked: We stayed 3 nights in this exquiste hotel that is within a historic building directly at the town square. Our room faced the street, where it was quiet at night in March. Unlike most hotels in the south, here we had two separate matresses and nice warm covers. The breakfast buffet (served from 7:30) offered a large, high-quality selection, and even varied from day to day. Massage is available at the hotel, which was a very relaxing experience. Free parking was available at the large parking lot 200 m away.
Disliked: The boiled eggs at the breakfast were too hard.
