Great hotel in a good location and exceptional value for money
Liked: This is a great hotel in a good location. Excellent value for money with modern, well equipped rooms. Beautiful grounds and excellently maintained gardens and pool area. The spa was a bonus! The welcome from reception was first class, super friendly, efficient and a big smile - a great first impression!
Disliked: I have to say what REALLY let the hotel down was the restaurant/bar. We had the worst service I think I have ever experienced in a hotel. We were five people for lunch, it took more than two hours and three to four times of chasing to receive any food. The two staff on duty were dismisive, (borderline rude), unhelpful and unapologetic. A third member of staff who came on duty later saved the day and finally got us our food and an apology. They removed two items from the bill but in all honesty, they shouldn't have charged anything at all given the terrible experience. Staffing levels and customer service DEFINITELY need to be addressed because it really let the hotel down. There were only three occupied tables in the whole restaurant so there really was no excuse! This experience aside, I have still given an overall score of 8 because the hotel itself deserves it.

Disliked: Water pressure could be better We didn't have tea and coffee facilities and found out a friend did. Asked reception at the end of our stay when we found the friend did and they said we should have had them

The open air pool is open from 11:00am to 07:00pm. Opening days will vary as mentioned: during June, open on Saturday and Sunday; during July, August and September it will be open all from Monday to Sunday the rest of the months it will be closed for bathing.
