Disliked: Not clean at all and no lift or elevator making it hard to the rooms with luggages. Staff did speak English hence communication was bad.
Great room in a noisy car free area
Liked: A lovely old building. Fantastic receptionist. Central location. I loved the compact, efficient and well designed private room with a small balcony. The walk up stairs take me back to a grander age.
Disliked: The convenience of central location comes with two drawbacks. 1. The town center is a large area in which cars are not allowed. I support central areas that prohibit cars, but it does make accessing the hostel difficult if you drive to Huesca. That also means parking near the car-free zone can be difficult to find. Plan on walking a half mile or more to the hostel. 2. The town center this time of year is a party scene - great food and bars all have large outdoor seating areas. No problem finding dinner and a drink. But, all those people eating and drinking and just hanging out is noisy! As the night progresses alcohol causes voices to rise. I went to bed at midnight and the party was in full swing right under my second floor room. Ask if they have a room away from the street.
Liked: It was in the middle of town, the air conditioning worked well and was quiet
Disliked: Too much bleach in the toilet
Very pleasant place to stay in Huesca
Liked: Hostal Rugaca had everything needed for one to prepare one's own breakfast and heat other meals. We appreciated this.
Disliked: That the service lift was out of order and that suitcases had to be dragged up and down the stairs.
I didn’t spend alot of time in the property as I was walking a Camino. It was well placed for dining and bus station
Liked: Ideal location in City centre.
Disliked: No elevator for tired Camino legs.
