Guest reviews
Good
Liked: The hotel was located close to a wedding venue that we were attending. The room contained a large ceiling fan and air conditioning. The shower was particularly good.
Disliked: The room we stayed in was quite small compared to other rooms. We couldn't open the window in the bathroom, it was sealed shut. There was a late check in fee which seemed unnecessary as there was no key card required, we were emailed a code for the entrance and our bedroom.
Good value for money
Liked: Property was clean and staff were lovely, albeit I didn’t have much dealings with them given I arrived late
Disliked: It was clean, comfortable and good price. Facilities were basic but couldn’t fault them, it was very clean
Good value, comfortable, and gets the local vote
Liked: I was on a motorbike trip so this was handily located with parking. On the outskirts of town but that was fine for me, several eateries close by if you’re not expecting cordon bleu. Staff friendly and the bar was surprisingly popular with locals, always a good sign, whether the evening crowd or as a RV for multiple groups of cyclists stopping for coffee in the morning. Happy with my choice.
Disliked: Decor in the rooms a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Noisy old-style aircon box on the external wall that didn’t do much, but the ceiling fan was effective.
Good
Liked: It was a good room
Disliked: Personally i don't like dark furniture. It would have been really good if there was a fridge.
Liked: Location. Staff very friendly/helpful.
Disliked: First morning, 30 minutes waiting for coffee!! Had to cancel and leave as had appointment. Staff very good, but half hour wait for coffee that never came is unacceptable. Spoiled the stay.😞
Basic but lovely
Liked: A lovely hotel, very basic. The hotel closes at 10pm which is very inconvenient. The staff were wonderful, especially the bar staff. It's an old school hotel so don't expect too much..
Disliked: The entire hotel closes at 10pm
