Fabulous
Liked: The apartment is old, but clean. The village is located in the middle of the hilly region of Andalusia and is very beautiful and clean. Ideal for people looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. There are no nightclubs or big parties here... everything is peaceful and you can truly rest. I stayed at the end of October — it's probably a bit different in July and August.

Liked: Excellent location in the heart of town. Beautiful views and comfortable stay. The owner goes above and beyond to communicate with you and make sure things go smoothly. Genaguacil is magical.
A peaceful rural retreat with wonderful hospitality!
Liked: We truly enjoyed the peace and quiet in this cozy little town. The apartments are spacious, comfortable, and decorated in a lovely traditional rural style. The host was welcoming and friendly. We also loved the delicious local cuisine and the option to book breakfast and dinners right there, which was very convenient.
Disliked: The only minor downside was that sometimes there was a slight smell of sewage, but it wasn't a major issue and didn't ruin our stay.
Liked: We stayed for two nights in a well equipped one bedroom apartment. It was perfect for our needs and the location was ideal. Genalgaucil is beautiful and the hosts Verónica and Gloria made it perfect. Verónica's traditional dishes at dinner were a hearty and welcome way to end the day.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like!
Interesting village but take your own food!
Liked: The apartment was located in the village which was tiny so easy to get around and near an open parking lot.
Disliked: The beds were very uncomfortable and the apartment dry old. There was only one restaurant available (4 tables, mediocre food, stale bread), the other restaurant and bar were closed until closer to the weekend. Even the grocery store was closed (google said open). Had to use google translate to communicate.

Liked: Excellent location, view to mountains, very beautiful village, tasty local traditional food. Host Veronica was very helpful and pleasant. Highly recommend to visit this place.
