  Casa Maria is is a great spot for a get away or a hiking base, central to larger towns, restaurants, and trails. Gorgeo

  Liked: Property was very clean, well organized, and surrounded by beautiful flowers and a great view. Bed was very comfortable and layout was great. In warmer weather the patios will be so perfect after a day of hiking. The treats provided by Carmen were lovely and hit the spot. Hiking trails are literally out the door.

  Romantic location feeling the local history

  Liked: Property is located in a quite location with a very nice view, specially from a room with a glass wall. Breakfast from a room with gorgeous view was fantastic and evenings close to an open fire as well. All the rooms are very nice and kitchen fully equipped. There was already a lot of food waiting for us on arrival. House is positioned close to a national park and it is a great starting point for hikinng.

  Disliked: Car is a must and last part of the road requires some experience, but this didn’t impact our great experience

  Liked: Casa Maria got us rested as we needed coming from the rush of a big city: comfy beds (we used the two separated beds downstairs, but you have a choice!), quiet environment in an idyllic setting. Beyond what other reviewers wrote, we truly enjoyed small details like being able to play a bit basketball in the porch right after coming back of a a hike day in Garajonay, lighting a fire in the night, or relaxing watching the bees going around the flowers of the nicely maintained garden - as Carmen will tell you, can even find there some fresh herbs for infusion.
