  Liked: Amazing beautiful rural house, with amazing view to the valley. 2 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 living room. Very stylish in old Canarian way. You will find everything you need. Dinners on private terrace with view to the town are unforgettable.

  Great location for a walking break, lovely host, comfortable accommodation

  Liked: Excellent location for a walking holiday based in Vallehermoso. A short walk to the centre of town; conveniently located for the well-stocked local supermarket and places to eat (note though that the house is only 350m from the centre, but up a very steep hill. Veronica, who greeted us at the house, was great - very friendly and helpful sorting out a minor problem we had with the hot water. The place was very clean, although the kitchen was basic (but we expected that) - there's just a two-ring hob and a microwave for cooking. Beds comfortable and it had a washing machine. Excellent value - great views down the valley and over the town. Note that to get between the rooms you do need to walk outside along a covered veranda, although it's quite sheltered it's chilly in January.

  Disliked: There was no corkscrew! Take one if you like your wine.

  A lovely charming house in a stunning location

  Liked: Great location on hillside. Rustic and traditional but we loved that aspect and charm. The host was wonderful and prepared everything superbly, even though we arrived early.
