  Beautiful place to stay. Hiking in the area is spectacular. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming

  Liked: Beautiful location. Amazing views. Owner kindly left us some gifts and brought a bunch of bananas from his field outside the house. Easy to walk up the steps to the main road where there’s a grocer and a handful of bars and restaurants in walking distance.

  Disliked: It is quite dark inside, but if it’s hot that is probably very nice.

  Wonderful house in a tranquil setting

  Liked: We stayed for 5 days and absolutely loved everything about this place. The house is a beautifully renovated traditional house, peaceful and incredibly well equipped - you can really feel that the hosts put a lot of care and attention into every detail. Everything you might need during your stay is provided, which made us feel at home right away. There was also a lot of helpful information about the island, nature and things to explore, which made it even more special. The location is tranquil with stunning views, perfect for relaxing while still being a great base to discover the island. The host was amazing, very welcoming and thoughtful. We couldn’t recommend this place more and would definitely love to come back.

  Everything a Casa Rural should be and more, in a spectacular convenient and tranquil location

  Liked: The house and the area are very authentically Gomeran located in the spectacular valley of Hermigua about 20mins walk to the sea but with views of the gorge and local bars, shops and restaurants all in easy driving or active walking distance. That said, it's peaceful and green with a lovely small private garden and good facilities. There is lots of local information and beautiful books about Gomera and for us being so near the tranquil banana grove was a plus. The hosts were superhelpful and on hand without being ever present. The welcome gifts were an unexpected treat too!

  Disliked: Cooking facilities are great but using the oven at the same time as the stove top put the electricity system at a stretch.

  Lovely house in a peaceful and beautiful location!

  Liked: If you are looking for tranquility, being close to nature and staying in a traditional house - this place is the match. We absolutely loved everything about it. The hosts are extremely friendly and fruits from their garden were the best we had in the Canary Islands. The views from the apartment are great, you are surrounded by banana plantations and Hermigua is lovely. We absolutely recommend it.

  Disliked: The bed moves very easily so even when you read and support your back on the wall behind it moves away 😅 Still, absolutely recommend it!

  Recommended for getting away in a quiet, comfy place

  Liked: The property is beautiful, very clean, with wonderful sights and the surrounding banana trees make it special. And Carlos is a true gentleman, although we got to meet him for a few minutes.

Free mountain bikes

In the surroundings of the Houses there are some kittens, they are peaceful, affectionate and playful, they are sterilized, vaccinated and dewormed, we take care of them and provide them with food and water so that they can survive.

The main access road has already been repaired and you can drive to the front of the Rural House without any problem.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

A deposit may be required at the property.
