  The photo on bookings.com was not the side sea room as advertised

  Disliked: Got a normal room, unfortunately they have the balcony towards the mountains and not the sea, so keep that in mind if seaview is important to You.

  A relaxing stay in a nice location

  Liked: Spacious rooms and balcony. We had a roof terrace which overlooked the ocean which was a real bonus. The hotel is close to nice restaurants and shops.

  Disliked: The rooms were rather dark as they faced inland and the decor was a bit dated. We would have preferred a walk in shower instead of a shower in the bath. The hooks for the towels were very high and could only be reached standing in the bath. The swimming pool was much colder than previous visits,which was our main reason for choosing Playa Calera.

  Comfortable stay, the breakfast bar was fantastic

  Liked: Great location by the beach and restaurants.

  Disliked: Old fashioned data set up. No USB ports on plugs. No Netflix on the TV and the TV is only programmed to German with no choice to change. We were in the minority being English.
