  Many steps up a steep hill, no wifi code, complicated check in. Quiet though

  Disliked: Awfully complicated registering process in order to get the code for the keys. We were sent to an apartment that was not cleaned after the previous guests. Upon reclamation, we were rebooked into another, smaller apartment that was even further up the hill and moist. We never received the wifi code so could not use the internet there. The host just ghosted us after booking us into the new apartment - but, truth be told, she made sure it was cleaned and ready. The pool was a joke, just a tank you can‘t move in.

  quiet place in Hermigua

  Liked: The apartment is in a very quiet village on the island, supermarkets are at a 2 minutes walking distance and the apartment is well equipped with a full kitchen. It is a very quiet place to stay

  Looks good from the photos. In reality it is clean but poorly equipped and furnished

  Liked: Location was wonderful. Views were stunning. Apartment was nice and clean.

  Disliked: Kitchen was inadequately equipped for self catering. Fixtures, fittings and furniture are all incredibly cheap. Check-in process was wildly complicated and frustrating in a place with little 4/5G. We had to drive for miles to get signal to complete the online security forms and deposit only to be told all the info and contact details for the property on the site were wrong.

  Liked: The house itself is rather nice (but lacks a bit of soul decoration wise).

  Disliked: The house is literally above the road, so it can be noisy. The bed was not very comfortable, bed linen and pillows of low quality. The bathroom is tiny. In the kitchen there was no bare necessities like salt, tea bags, etc.
