A heritage hotel with personality and friendly staff
Liked: The location is nice and far from the noise of traffic, on a car-free street (only sporadically are cars allowed). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel design and the fact that it is 300 years old made the experience interesting.
Disliked: Some of the limitations of hotels that are not renovated due to being given historic/heritage status, including the lack of a lift or the lack of central heating. However, the overall experience is interesting.
Liked: The staff made the hotel the reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful
Disliked: The fire alarms in the rooms are very intrusive and shine a light in your eyes if you are a light sleeper will strongly suggest getting an eye mask.

Amazing location and a great, friendly hotel
Liked: We had a room on the first floor, which we found larger and had tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which we haven’t had before in rooms on the 2nd floor. I also requested a first floor room this time, as I find it difficult with too many stairs, my request was fulfilled. The staff are so friendly and helpful, breakfast had plenty of choice as well. The location is great, right in the centre of the town. We had a really good stay.
