  Great value, friendly hostel

  Liked: Bright Canarian style building high up in Orotava. Very friendly owner, very good prices for shared dormitory, and I had a single bed rather than bunk beds. Clean well stocked kitchen.Beautiful artwork on the walls. Taxi up the hill from the bus station in Orotava was only 4.60 €....... altogether a good choice.

  Disliked: The hostel had toilets and a shower downstairs, in a more open area with no roof in the centre. It could be a bit wet or draughty in cooler months. But for May it was absolutely fine

  Liked: Manuela and Dario were amazing hosts. They received me so well and were super friendly. The hostel is beautiful, clean and confortable. I felt safe and cozy there.

  Liked: I really liked the delightful interior. I got a warm welcome. It's located in the old town of the very lovely La Orotava. I extended my stay there. Would definitely recommend!

  Liked: Pricewise - great deal, also the staff is super helpful and they're very flexible in terms of the reservation. Location is amazing but enforces some up/downhill walks everytime you want to roam the neighbourhood (that's just the nature of La Orotava, but something to be aware of - for me an absolute plus). The rooftop terrace is fabulous. Kitchen well equipped and provides everything you need.

  Disliked: The room I booked, specifically - single room - is a 'dark room' - it doesn't have an external window, only one that goes into the hostel corridor. It makes it impossible to introduce a proper airflow into the room which leads to large humidity and dampness. Also one of the walls is getting wet and drips during or after heavy rainfalls
