  Only for 1-2 days

  Liked: The best part was the super nice and helpful receptionist employees, hats off really, never experienced such kindness on the island. Location also great.

  Disliked: Where to start. And please note that none of us are piciy travellers. 1. Thin walls, you hear literally everything what your neighbors do… all night long. 2. The photos on Booking are probably from 2017… because the apartment is dirty. Not just not cleaned properly, but the walls, the furniture, everything. It feels like an old uni dorm room, so our trip started with deep cleaning and still wasnt enough. 3. We couldnt lock the door from inside, only close it. The numeric lock outside on the door worked only third/fourth try. 4. The bed matrass had a huuuuge hole in the middle, giving way too much back problems in 2 weeks. 5. Right after the main entrance door in the hall, there’s constant, strong urine smell, and pieces of the ceiling is falling off in front of the elevator. 6. Washing area on the top floor is really dirty, such as the machines themselves. 7. There are quite some electrical sockets in the apartment, but only 2 is working. 8. The toilet is leaking at the bottom. So all in all the 2 weeks we’ve spent there was quite uncomfortable, NOT for long holiday.

  Liked: We liked it a lot. You have everything you need in the kitchen and it was nice and comfy. Good quality for this price. Location is also very nice. A few minutes walk from the touristic center of Puerto de la Cruz.

  Liked: The apartment is located close to the city center in a relatively quiet area, except for some construction work happening in the building across the street. Overall, the stay was fine, but the apartment had quite basic facilities. The kitchen had an stove, a fridge, a classic coffee filter, and a few utensils. the equipment was rather minimal if you plan to cook more than simple meals. The kitchen is also very small and located right at the entrance of the apartment, without natural light, which means cooking smells tend to spread easily throughout the whole apartment. Beds were comfortable, we appreciated the sofa bed in the living room. It had side armrests and was placed next to the wall, which was very helpful since we were sleeping with our small child who moves a lot during the night, and it made the sleeping arrangement feel safer.

  Disliked: One downside was that the apartment is located right next to the elevator, so you can hear people coming and going, which sometimes made it a bit noisy inside the apartment. Another thing that was not clearly mentioned in the apartment description is the washing machine. It is not located inside the apartment but in a shared laundry area in the building, used by all residents. In terms of cleanliness, we would have appreciated a bit more attention to detail. The floor has a neutral color, but when looking more closely, we noticed quite a few grey hairs on the floor. There was also a mop available, which we used, although it was quite low quality and overused. The bedding provided were a bit smaller than the beds themselves, which made it slightly uncomfortable during the night.

  Sofas covered in stains, doors like battle horns, furniture on the brink of collapse — the stay felt like an extreme sur

  Liked: Good location — convenient and well connected, making it easy to explore the area and briefly forget about the adventures awaiting back in the room. The apartment is equipped with everything one might need: a coffee maker, microwave, oven, stove, refrigerator, washing machine, hairdryer, and more. In terms of appliances, it truly feels like a place designed for normal living — which makes the other issues all the more… memorable.

  Disliked: Cleaning in the room was rather symbolic: surfaces were wiped, but the sofa and mattresses were in a condition that can hardly be described as suitable for rest. Stains of various and quite recognizable origins, dust, and hair were included. On the positive side, the hair was not exclusively of an intimate nature, which can already be considered a small achievement. I did not expect soundproofing at this price, however the entrance doors to all rooms slam shut with a noise level comparable to a battering ram in training. We kept waking up in panic throughout the night because of these sounds. Perhaps the global news background of recent years contributed to our sensitivity, but the doors certainly did their part in keeping us alert. The entrance door to our room was faulty: the handle was loose and seemed to be held in place purely by optimism. The washing machine корпус was also damaged, and the nearby toilet seat felt unsafe to use because of this. The dining table had significant surface damage — sitting at it was uncomfortable and there was a real risk of scratching one’s hands. Many other minor issues could have been considered tolerable if the administration’s response had matched the situation. We asked either to change the room or to fix the problems, as we did not plan to tolerate this for 10 days. We were repeatedly promised that “everything will be solved tomorrow,” but during our entire stay that “tomorrow” never arrived. If there had been any real response to our requests, this review probably would not have been written.
